Welcome to the House of Monica
We welcome you to Casa di Monica, the holiday residence ten minutes from the historic center of Orvieto and a few kilometers from Lake Bolsena and Civita di Bagnoregio.
Its history begins in 1943, when it was born the mother and grandmother of those who today have made the estate of three hectares a place of hospitality and tradition.
Relaxation, clean air and nature as far as the eye can see, together with the great affection that has always been a union with the history of this place, make the Casa di Monica a suitable place to immerse yourself in the Umbrian countryside and appreciate the wonders of the places that surround it.
Our Rooms
The Casa di Monica offers its guests an entire country house built in tuff, a type of rock of magmatic order that keeps the heat during the winter months and the cool in the summer months.
The residence is on three floors and consists of two double bedrooms, one of which is on the second floor, a triple with a single double bed and a bathroom. On the ground floor, just after the entrance, you will find a large equipped kitchen, a living room with TV and a second bathroom.
During the stay, guests have the opportunity to use the laundry room with washing machine and dryer as well as free Wi-Fi and the kitchen refrigerator with freezer compartment.

Our philosophy is to make our guests feel at home as much as possible. For this reason we thought of adding services that will make you live a pleasant stay and breathe the family air that the House of Monica has maintained since 1943.
In the living area with outdoor access you can spend relaxing moments thanks to the TV, books and dining table, while outside you will find a garden, perfect for enjoying the summer days, also equipped with a kitchen area with fireplace for cooking on the grill, wood burning oven and economic stove. The property has two bathrooms: one on the ground floor, near the entrance, and one on the first floor, closer to the rooms.
La Casa di Monica also offers a covered parking space and a safe with key for free use and can be reached through a paved road that connects it to the historic center of Orvieto as well as Bolsena and Civita di Bagnoregio.

Orvieto’s historic centre is 10 minutes from Casa di Monica. Beyond the magnificent Duomo, among the wonders of Orvieto you can visit
the suggestive Pozzo della Cava, the medieval quarter, the National Archaeological Museum and the Pozzo di San Patrizio.
A few kilometers away is Civita di Bagnoregio, a small town in Viterbo and a popular destination for national and international tourism. For nature lovers, the nearby Lake Bolsena
will enchant with its colors and picturesque towns, including Montefiascone, Capodimonte and Gradoli.
Where we are
We are located in Torre San Severo, a fraction of the town of Orvieto that is six kilometers from the main historic center.
To reach us by car, follow the A1 Milano Napoli motorway route and exit at Orvieto. From there pass the areas of Gabelletta and Tamburino. From the Provincial Road 100, take Via XXV Aprile on the right and then continue on Strada del Fossitello.
